I'm Nina. I'm 19. I live in LA. I like dogs and shoes and watching movies and eating and sleeping and other stuff. I don't like things that aren't on sale, babies, Adam Sandler movies, and temperatures above 80 degrees (fuck you Los Angeles).

Tonight I went to Space 15 Twenty for the Rookie/UO/the Ardorous presented Live Q&A with Mindy Kaling. It was pretty fucking awesome. I’ve been in love with Mindy Kaling ever since episode 1 of The Office, I loved reading her old blog “Things I’ve Bought That I Love”, and when her book came out last year I bought it straight away. So yeah I love Mindy Kaling. She’s hilarious and smart and cute and relatable and meeting her tonight was totally a dream come true. After the Q&A, most of the girls in the audience kind of crowded around her to talk, get books signed, and take pictures with her, and she stayed after for at least an hour talking to every single girl one-on-one for as long as they wanted pretty much. She had actual conversations with people and gave them advice, etc. which was pretty cool. I was really excited and a little nervous and told her how psyched I was for her new show in the fall and how much I loved her and she gave me a hug and signed my book and took a picture with me. It was really awesome that she actually took the time to interact with everyone instead of just leave afterwards. Anyways, it was awesome and she was awesome and the night was awesome. Also BJ Novak was there with her, which was also pretty awesome.
